Flexi-Space / Acer
Acer, one of the world’s top five PC vendors, was drawn to the Brno area by the well educated population and the local density of technical universities. As part of a new “Customer Care” policy, Acer sought to eliminate outside brokers and to train customer service personnel themselves. The multi-use functionality of Flexi-Space facilities allowed Acer to establish both a call centre and a repair centre on the same premises, providing service to the entire CEE region.
Custom-Built / Andrew
Andrew Corporation, based in Chicago, is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of communications equipment and systems for wireless, fixed-line and broadband service providers. Andrew relocated operations to CEE from a plant in Scotland to take advantage of lower costs and proximity to customers and suppliers. CTP Invest custom-built a 12,000 m2 mixed-use facility for high-tech manufacturing that includes a product testing centre, a paint shop, and high-standard offices and meeting facilities.
Custom-Built / Bridgestone
Bridgestone, one of the world’s largest tyre and rubber manufacturers, required a strong and experienced development partner to build a new European distribution centre. This massive facility - 70,000 m2 - is a major platform for servicing an established customer base in Western Europe, as well as for reaching new clients in the expanding CEE region. CTP Invest was able to accommodate the high technical specifications, and construct a facility capable of storing 1 million tyres, with through-unit traffic of 5-6 million tyres per year. In addition to the favourable lease conditions CTP Invest provided, Bridgestone enjoys the security of 50,000 m2 of adjacent land reserved for future expansion.
Warehouse Space / DHL
Global logistics powerhouse DHL chose CTPark warehouse facilities to locate a regional logistics hub tailor-made to meet their specific geographical and functional requirements. Within two years, DHL was able to take advantage of the full construction services provided by CTP Invest and to expand the facilities without operational interruption. DHL currently occupies facilities at five locations with-in the CTPark Network, benefiting from flexible lease arrangements which allow DHL the “right-to-grow” across the Network.
Axis Office Park / GE Money Bank
As part of a broader regionalisation plan, GE Money Bank sought to create a financial service centre in a strategic location with strong employment opportunities. By leasing 6,000 m2 of office space in Axis Office Park Ostrava, GE Money Bank gained the flexible, high-quality work environment that they required for their customer support and credit portfolio management services. Axis Office Park facilities were ideally suited for GE Money bank due to the flexible floor plans, office park environment and easy access to the town centre for employees.
CTBox / Lektronix
Lektronix is one of Europe’s leading industrial electronic repairs providers with bases in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. They moved to CTZone Brno in July 2007 to facilitate the service they offer to their clients and help realize their ambition of becoming the number one company of its type anywhere in the world. Working in close partnership with CTP Invest, Lektronix occupies 450 m2 of space in one of our popular CTBox concepts, but expects to increase the size of their operation to over 1,500 m2 in the next two to three years.
